This underlying theme of this blog questions the idea that visual ability in art terms, arises out of right brain usage. Having a great deal of interest in personality type theory, Myers Briggs in particular, I just wanted to share a couple of their thoughts. I picked this up out of their book 'Gifts Differing'.
Firstly, the introverted type lives in the world of abstract thought and ideas and has an independence from the outside world. Secondly, it is intuition, which provides the ability to see the possibilities, and make something of them. There is loads more I want to discuss on this but I don't like long posts.
